Sheffield Rainbow Laces 2019

Join Sheffield Hallam University & SAYiT to stamp out LGBT+ phobia in Sport.

Sheffield is quite literally the home of football. Sheffield FC is officially recognised as the oldest existing club now playing association football in the world.

Now is your chance to have fun by taking part in a 5-a-side football tournament. This will help raise awareness for inclusion in football and money for SAYiT. SAYiT is a local young person’s LGBT+ charity . We will also be celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2019. We have been influential in transforming the lives of young LGBT+ people. The money raised will support SAYiT & the Noah Lomax Fund, in memory of a young LGBT+ person who recently passed away. To find out more:

Sports clubs, teams and athletes across the world have been getting involved. The campaign has been supported at the highest levels by Aviva Premiership Rugby and Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United. The Rainbow Laces campaign is a way for everyone involved in sport to show their support for LGBT+ equality and inclusivity.
