What data we collect
When you contact us or sign up to be a member of the Equality Hub Network Sheffield (the Network), you provide us with some basic personal data, such as your name and email address. You may also choose to provide more information, including the name of the organisation you represent and which Equality Hubs you’re interested in.
Who collects and processes your data
The Network is facilitated by Support Organisations that are grant-funded by Sheffield City Council.
Sheffield City Council’s Equalities and Involvement Team oversees the collection and processing of your data. You can contact the Team at email@example.com or Sheffield Town Hall, Pinstone Street, Sheffield, S1 2HH.
We use MailChimp to store members’ details and to keep members informed about the Network and any particular Equality Hubs they tell us they’re interested in. Please see MailChimp’s privacy practices for more information.
How we use your data
We use your data for limited purposes. We do not sell, trade or rent your data to any third parties.
When you sign up to become a member of the Network, we use your data to keep in touch with you about the Network. You can withdraw your membership at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from us, or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you submit a news article or an event, we may use your data to contact you if we need more information about your submission.
When you fill in a contact form, we use your data to respond to your query.
How long we keep your data
We will retain your data for as long as you are a member of the Network.
